Spuds have Covid in the camp
|
jJust heard that Spurs have multiple cases of positive Covid cases in the camp. Looks like they might try and get the Rennes game called off. Uefa said it they wont let that happen if they have a squad of 13 players available. It may impact on our game on the 22nd. Even if their top players get it ,and get over it, they still may be out of sorts for our game. A sort of natural Lasagnegate .

Spuds are cheats both on and off the pitch, so hope we beat them tonight.

I see Conte has said Spurs will be contesting their expulsion from the Conference competition and they ( Spuds ) are confident of their appeal. Levy up to his old tricks with legal moves ?

Real shame for them as they surely would have won the competition.
Still, they are challenging for the top 4, so may well be a blessing in disguise.

Rennes would have done them by more than 0-3, that’s huge let off

Yeah given we've had a couple of really shit decisions in the last few games with the Coufal incident along with not getting the blatant penalty against Burnley despite a VAR check, I'd have expected Moyes to have said a bit more rather than just meekly going along with it and saying the decisions were correct.

Conte digging out Klopp after the Liverpool manager stated that Kane should have been sent off. Obviously Klopp is right but the point is all the top managers defend their players regardless of penalty bad tackle incidents. I'm still pissed off that Moyes couldn't defend Coufal at least to the cameras regarding the penalty and second yellow. Wise up Moyes as you're the only one who takes that stance.

They wouldn’t have beaten Rennes anyway so would have gone out.

Booted out of a competition they didn't want to be in anyway and now avoid the impending embarrassment of getting knocked out by utter shite.
Sure they're well gutted. Wouldn't surprise me if that sly fox Levi knew this was on the cards.

Probably a positive for them spares them the indignity of not winning the trophy and indeed the indignity of winning it. Also frees up their calendar. I expect they are fairly happy.

Let’s get Norwich played on Saturday and throw some positive covid tests in get the cup game postponed
There’s precedence here. Spurs got a bye when Orient had to forfeit their game last season due to COVID. So we would be shafted again and Spurs would benefit again.

Cardiff to name 'misfit' line-up of youngsters and semi-pros against European champions Toulouse To fulfil their Champions Cup fixture, Covid-hit Cardiff have drafted in players from their academy and a local semi-professional team
Cardiff Rugby will field a “misfit” line-up featuring youngsters and semi-professionals against the might of European champions Toulouse, but have vowed to make the best of “a surreal situation” this weekend.
Of the 48 players and staff that departed for United Rugby Championship fixtures in South Africa last month, six remain in the country after testing positive for Covid-19. The remaining 42, who eventually flew back to the United Kingdom last week, are undertaking 10 days of quarantine in London.
In order to fulfil their Champions Cup fixture against Toulouse on Saturday lunchtime, Cardiff have drafted in players from their academy as well as semi-professional outfit Cardiff RFC.
watched highlights and they gave it a proper go against the best team and the best player (Dupont) in the world at teh moment... I think Cardiff even drafted in a linesman to play.... hats off

Let's hope the Spuds have lost their match fitness. But knowing those jammy twats, they'll be well rested when they face us.

British, wrong.
SOME clubs went to the PL asking to suspend games until boxing day, the PL then said no and it'll judge on a case by case basis.

It’s a ducking joke that north London bunch of cunts have got another game off.
So fucking sick of them getting away with pulling strokes.
Conte and Levy have used the current climate to manufacture a situation to give their players a rest, miss key fixtures until they can strengthen in January and clear up a few injuries.
As much as I detest them, they are bright.
We’ll keep playing on fumes dropping points and tumbling down the league with injuries, fatigue and poor form.
Let’s get Norwich played on Saturday and throw some positive covid tests in get the cup game postponed.
